The Druid class has relatively low mobility, and its fast in-your-face style of play can leave you open to taking damage yourself if you aren't careful. The Druid is an ideal class for dealing high damage to single and multiple targets with an easy to learn play-style. It's also lauded for being an easy class to master and makes chaining abilities together fun and intuitive. The Druid is an excellent class to take into Ladder Season 4 as it sports a high damage output on either single targets or groups of enemies.

Obedience is a fairly cheap runeword weapon to give your merc, the crushing blow helps with bosses since windy is more of an aoe spec than a single target one. The druid hit recovery breakpoints are 63 / 99, a spirit will give you 55 so get 8 more to hit the 63 breakpoint. Oh and put 1 point in dire wolf at some point, they tank pretty well for you.įor gear look to get 99 faster cast, or 163. Then the rest in oak sage or oak spirit, whatever that one's called - the +life one. Then twister and the other tornado synergy (forget what it's called). I maxed hurricane first, then cyclone armor to boost hurricane duration. I didn't know any better and specced SS for those levels, and even with good twink gear like full sigons, it sucked lol. What level are you? Under level 30 or in normal mode fire is the best spec from what I'm told. Tornado will only be used for bosses and cold immunes mostly, until later in hell mode when it becomes your main damage source. Hurricane alone will easily kill most stuff in nightmare and early hell mode unless it's cold immune or you're in a full game (or /players 5-8 if single player). But at your level you'd do better to max hurricane, then cyclone armor. Getting faster cast (99% or 163%) will help too. With tornado click near the edges of the screen, as far away from your character as you can, and they should be a bit more predictable. Hurricane deals cold damage and tornado deals physical damage, so wind is a dual spec allowing you to kill most things unless they're cold immune + physical immune. That's 2 of the most prized high runes in the game, and a mal and ist as well, not to mention the eth elite polearm to put it in which costs a vex on useast for a CV, and even more for the others. Infinity is still a great weapon for your merc to use for a few reasons, but it's very expensive (ber-mal-ber-ist).
Infinity doesn't break most fire immunities in hell mode, fire will be bad in hell.
